See Moc Chau from a hot air balloon for 150,000 VND

The Moc Chau International Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place from September 1 to 4, where visitors can experience hanging or free flying for VND150,000 and VND6.5 million respectively.

There are many activities taking place during the 4 days of the hot air balloon festival at the Central Square, Sub-area 14, Moc Chau Town, Moc Chau District, Son La Province. The most attractive is the experience of hanging and free flying for visitors, during the time period of 5:30 - 8:30 and 17:00 - 18:30 on festival days.

Accordingly, 3 hot air balloons for hanging flights are located in the square with a price of 150,000 VND per experience. Two hot air balloons fly freely, departing from the square and landing in Moc Chau Farm town. The experience ticket price is 6.5 million VND, flight time is 40 minutes - 1 hour.

Entrance fee is 30,000 VND.

The balloon pilot force includes one person from Taiwan, six Thais, one Dutch, one Indian, two Vietnamese and a team of 15 people, professionally trained to serve balloon flying activities.

In addition, the festival also has music programs held on the evenings of September 2 and 3.

Moc Chau is about 200 km from Hanoi in the direction of National Highway 6. Independence Day September 2 is a big holiday here, after Lunar New Year.
