Vietnamese community in Kansai donates to support people in Central Vietnam

(Baonghean.vn) - The Nghe Tinh Association in Osaka, Kansai region - Japan has just organized the "Thuong ve mien Trung" open cup 2016 football tournament to raise funds to support people in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh provinces that have been severely affected by floods.

This was the first time the tournament was held. The teams competed in 4 groups, each group had 4 teams. At the end of the tournament, the championship belonged to Kyodai FC. The entire amount of 240 million VND raised at the tournament was used by the organizers to support flood victims in the provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the participating teams.

The tournament was organized to demonstrate the sports spirit and solidarity of the Vietnamese community in Kansai and the people's hearts towards their homeland.
