To celebrate the 117th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday and the 50th anniversary of his first visit to his hometown, on May 10, the Management Board of Kim Lien Relic Site opened the exhibition "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". The exhibition displays more than 40 photos of Uncle Ho's two visits to his hometown and more than 30 articles and manuscripts published in newspapers by Uncle Ho. Many officials, people, and tourists from inside and outside the province who visited Uncle Ho's hometown and saw the exhibition were deeply moved by the familiar and affectionate images of Uncle Ho for his hometown.

After the opening of the exhibition, the Management Board of Kim Lien relic site organized a meeting with 3 witnesses who served and met Uncle Ho during his 2 visits to his hometown: Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong -Former Deputy of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Mr. Nguyen Van Lang - former emulation soldier of Dong Hieu farm, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Que - former Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Kim Lien Commune Party Committee. They told stories about welcoming Uncle Ho, meeting Uncle Ho and serving Uncle Ho very vividly. Each story is a great lesson, a personality and a great thought of President Ho Chi Minh expressed specifically and simply through every small detail. This is a valuable source of documents to add to the museum documents of Kim Lien Relic Site.
