On the morning of April 13, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a conference to review the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and summarize relief work in 2010.
Implementing the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" of the Politburo, the Provincial Steering Committee of the Campaign has deployed propaganda on the content of the Campaign to all departments, branches, provincial unions, and district and urban authorities. Organize and develop programs of activities to promote the image of Vietnamese goods brands to consumers in the province, especially people in remote and isolated areas.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has directed press agencies to disseminate the contents of the campaign. The Department of Industry and Trade has directed commercial centers, stores, and supermarkets in the province to prioritize the display and sale of products produced in the province and domestically. Thanks to that, after more than a year of implementation, the campaign has had a positive impact on the thinking and awareness of consumers, thereby contributing to changing shopping and usage attitudes; Vietnamese goods have gradually affirmed their position and brand in the provincial market...
Regarding the relief work in 2010, from October 19, 2010 to February 22, 2011, the Nghe An Provincial Relief Committee welcomed and received nearly 700 relief teams with a total amount of over 34 billion VND. Receiving goods, supplies, and necessities, with a total value of nearly 25 billion VND. After receiving, the Provincial Relief Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee promptly distributed the money and goods to localities to help people in areas affected by storms and floods, overcome difficulties, and stabilize their lives. 8 groups and 13 individuals were commended by the Provincial People's Committee for their good performance in the relief work in 2010.
On this occasion, 8 collectives were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; Dai Doan Ket Newspaper coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to implement the program "Accompanying the campaign of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life in residential areas".
