This year, on the 5th day of the Lunar New Year, Chau Cuong commune (Quy Hop district) officially opened the 4th Muong Ham Festival with traditional cultural and spiritual activities to commemorate the merits of those who founded the village and remember the legend of Nang Ni - Khun Tinh in the folk cultural treasure of western Nghe An. The festival takes place from the 5th to the 7th. This is a festival organized by Chau Cuong commune under the direct guidance of the district. With the long history of Muong Khun Tinh, Muong Ham people are gradually restoring it to become an official festival of the district.
Also in the early days of January, the ethnic people of Quy Chau district are excitedly organizing the Going to the Field Festival (Late Season Long Nha) - a traditional festival of the Thai ethnic group with new spiritual rituals that has been restored and gradually become an annual festival in Quy Chau. This year, the Going to the Field Festival combined with the Tree Planting Festival in memory of Uncle Ho in Quy Chau will be held in Chau Tien commune.
