World Tuberculosis Day Communication Campaign

On the morning of March 22, at Dien Thinh Primary School (Dien Chau), Nghe An Department of Health coordinated with Dien Chau District People's Committee to organize a launching ceremony in response to the communication campaign for World Tuberculosis Day (March 24).

With the theme: "Innovating action methods to move towards tuberculosis eradication in Vietnam"Male", the slogan mentioned in this year's launching ceremony is: "Take action now so that Nghe An is free of tuberculosis".

To achieve the goal of reducing by 50% the number of people infected and dying from tuberculosis by 2015 compared to 2010 and moving towards eliminating tuberculosis by 2030, it is necessary to change thinking, have the synchronous participation of the political system, all levels and sectors, increase resources, apply new techniques, new drugs, new vaccines in diagnosing, treating and preventing tuberculosis; at the same time, have new methods so that all people can access high-quality medical examination and treatment services.

After the launching ceremony was a parade in response to World Tuberculosis Day on main roads in Dien Chau district.
