Launching the National Highway 1A project

On the morning of April 6, in Vinh City, investors of the National Highway 1A project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Bai Vot (Ha Tinh) had a working session with leaders of the provinces where the highway project passes through.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Ministry of Construction, leaders of the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and four main investors: Mai Linh Group, Trung Do Joint Stock Company, VINCI Construction Group of the French Republic, and Credic Agoicole Capital Arrangement Bank.

Mr. Ho Huy, Chairman of the Board of Directors - General Director of Mai Linh Group, representing the investor, presented the plan, purpose, significance of the project, and introduced the investor's capacity. The National Highway 1A section from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Bai Vot (Ha Tinh) is 94.1 km long, 33-35m wide, has 4 to 8 lanes, and a total investment of 27 trillion VND. This is an important project contributing to the socio-economic development of not only the 3 provinces but also the entire North Central region and the whole country.

At the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of the three provinces, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked the investors for taking an early step to implement this important project.

He hoped that the investor would promote the project quickly and effectively so that the people of the three provinces could soon benefit from it, making an important contribution to the country's economic development. When the project is approved, the three provinces will establish a steering committee and coordinate closely, creating the most favorable environment for the investor to implement the project...
