For international flights, during this period, Vietnam Airlines will add 15 round-trip flights on the routes Hanoi - Bangkok/Siem Reap, Ho Chi Minh City - Bangkok/Kuala Lumpur/Siem Reap.
Travel demand during the April 30 and May 1 holidays is expected to increase by about 30% compared to the same period in 2010, mainly concentrated on April 29 and 30 and May 2 and 3.
Vietnam Airlines recommends that passengers carefully consider their expected travel schedule and the availability of seats on flights during the day to make appropriate choices, avoiding booking seats on multiple flights, causing duplicate virtual seats.
Passengers should not choose flights during peak hours and should proactively look to buy tickets on neighboring days in case the desired flight is fully booked.
