Before working with the district, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien inspected the production and development of paper raw material trees, industrial tea plantation of resettled households and the clean water supply project for 200 households in Kim Hong and Xieng Lam villages, Ngoc Lam commune. Currently, the main reservoir has been silted up and is unable to supply water. The water supply system after the reservoir to people's homes is now basically damaged.

According to the report, up to now, Thanh Chuong has completed site clearance and handed over to the Hydropower Plant II Management Board over 4,773 hectares of land (all the required land area). The district has received 2,121 households, out of a total of 2,412 households as planned. It has divided 451.8 hectares of garden land and 2,435 hectares of agricultural land to the people, with an average of 2.3 hectares of land per household.


At the meeting, representatives of the Management Board of Hydropower Project II, Thanh Chuong district and other sectors gave many ideas to help resettled people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.


Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of the sectors and localities in site clearance, land allocation, receiving people and promptly resolving difficulties for resettled people. At the same time, he assigned the responsibility to the Project Management Board together with the local authorities to complete the land allocation to the people before May 15 and organize the issuance of land use right certificates in 2011.

Quickly coordinate to inspect and fix the problem of domestic water for people; supplement the planning of markets, medical stations, and cemeteries. Have a plan to support industrial tea planting, support maintenance and repair of degraded infrastructure. Coordinate to strictly handle the problem of land encroachment, speed up the construction progress of works in the resettlement area. Assign relevant sectors to coordinate to solve arising problems, helping resettled people quickly stabilize their lives.
