Launching the Liaison Committee of Truong Son Troops in Nghi Loc District

(Baonghean) -On June 6, the Liaison Committee of Truong Son Troops in Nghi Loc district (Nghe An province) held a launching ceremony.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - former Commander of Military Region 4, Lieutenant General Pham Hong Minh - former Deputy Political Commander of Military Region 4, along with local leaders and many veterans attended the ceremony.

The Nghi Loc District Truong Son Troops Liaison Committee has now gathered 230 veteran comrades and former youth volunteers; in the past time, they have always promoted the qualities of Truong Son soldiers, overcome difficulties, supported each other in labor production, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, family economic development and implementation of social policies, and have been trusted by the Party Committee, government and people.

At the launching ceremony, the Liaison Committee awarded the Truong Son Soldier Medal to 86 veteran comrades and former Youth Volunteers.
