Announcement of the results of the 2011 high school entrance exam for 10th grade.

The 2011-2012 provincial-level entrance exam for 10th grade had 46,148 candidates. According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, using a weighting of 2 for Mathematics and Literature, and 1 for Foreign Language, there were 8,891 students scoring below 15 points; 15,157 students scoring between 15 and under 25 points; 15,295 students scoring between 25 and under 35 points; and 6,805 students scoring 35 points or higher. 578 exam papers (Mathematics: 79, Foreign Language: 499) received a perfect score of 10.

The 5 schools that achieved high results in this year's entrance exam are: Dang Thai Mai Secondary School, Vinh City (average 40.48 points); Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, Do Luong (40.31 points); Bach Lieu Secondary School, Yen Thanh (40.03 points); Ho Xuan Huong Secondary School, Quynh Luu (40 points); Ton Quang Phiệt Secondary School, Thanh Chuong (38.4 points).

Throughout the province, 143 students achieved scores of 45 or higher (an average of 9 points per subject), with the three highest-scoring students being: Duong Thi Phuong, a student from Lam Thanh Secondary School, Hung Nguyen district (47.75 points); Nguyen Thi Han, a student from Nhan Son Secondary School, Do Luong district (47.5 points); and Nguyen Tat Kien, a student from Nguyen Trai Secondary School, Tan Ky district (47.5 points).

Currently, the Department has sent the results to the high schools so that they can proceed with setting admission scores and recruiting students.
