Contribute to maintaining and expanding the Party's ideological battlefield

(Baonghean) -Over the past 81 years, ideological work has always affirmed its leading position and is a major component in all activities of the Party. Under the direct leadership of the Party, ideological work has actively and effectively contributed to the victory of the national liberation revolution, unifying the country, entering the period of renovation and continuing to gain great and historically significant victories.

Under the leadership of the Nghe An Party Committee, the Nghe An propaganda team has actively participated in the process of summarizing practices and researching theories, contributing to clarifying the system of theoretical viewpoints on each revolutionary stage of the homeland and the country; at the same time, researching, proposing and contributing to solving many major and important issues in all aspects; organizing many rich and effective activities in the fields of propaganda, political theory education, cultural ideology, press - publishing, education - training, science and technology, ideological security, and public opinion.

Currently, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has a strong army, actively participating in the propaganda front of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies. The whole province has 2,550 reporters and propagandists, of which 23 are provincial-level reporters, 525 are district-level reporters and propagandists; the rest are reporters and propagandists at the commune, ward, town, agency, and enterprise levels... Nghe An province has fully and strongly developed all types of press with 6 provincial press agencies, 33 representative and resident press agencies in the area; most districts, cities, towns, affiliated Party Committees, sectors, and organizations have published internal newsletters and built electronic news sites. The contents of information on political and current affairs, economic and social guidance and orientation are reflected and updated relatively fully, accurately, quickly, and promptly. Thanks to that, it has contributed to creating high consensus in the political system and strengthening the great national unity bloc.

Promoting the revolutionary tradition of their homeland, the team of propaganda workers in Nghe An always consciously strives to fulfill the role of pioneer soldiers on the Party's ideological front. Closely following the direction of the Central Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the entire propaganda sector of Nghe An has comprehensively, synchronously, actively and proactively implemented the advisory, direction and guidance functions, promptly implemented measures to promote the strength of the entire political system, and promptly put the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels into practice. Advise the Steering Committee to effectively implement the Campaign "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". Focus on the work of grasping and orienting public opinion, processing information, advising and proposing to the Party Committee to promptly resolve issues arising from the grassroots, and implementing major policies of the province. Implement well the work of bringing information to the grassroots, disseminating scientific and technical information, economic and market information, effectively serving production and business activities in the area. Orient the implementation of propaganda, introduction, promotion, investment attraction and development of tourism and service economy. Propaganda and organize well major holidays, important political and cultural events in the area. Actively implement well the work of researching Party history and the work of guiding, appraising, inspecting and supervising the compilation of Party history at the grassroots. Coordinate and direct the good implementation of ideological security work in the area.

Propaganda work has been increasingly innovated in content and form, ensuring the continued maintenance, strengthening and promotion of the Party's leadership role in the face of new requirements. In the renovation process as well as in recent times, Nghe An province has made many encouraging advances. The economic structure has shifted in the right direction, gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture and increasing the proportion of industry and services. Agricultural, forestry and fishery production has developed quite firmly and comprehensively. The economic growth rate has been quite stable. Annual budget revenue has increased and increased rapidly. The socio-economic infrastructure has been constantly strengthened. In the social field, scientific activities, education - training, health, culture, sports, people's health care, population - family planning have made remarkable progress. Policy work has been paid attention to and implemented well. The political situation is stable, national defense and security have been strengthened. The work of building the political system has been consolidated... In general, Nghe An's position and strength have developed steadily and relatively comprehensively. That is a common achievement, a common pride, in which there is a contribution from the propaganda team to change awareness, thinking and action to create determination to innovate, develop and integrate comprehensively.

However, due to the negative impact of the market mechanism, the complexities and consequences of international economic integration, the sabotage of hostile forces, and our shortcomings, weaknesses and existences, the political, ideological, moral and lifestyle limitations and shortcomings of a number of cadres and party members have been slowly overcome; the situation of social order and ideological security has hidden complex factors; ideological work lacks sharpness and combativeness, methods lack flexibility, and are sometimes passive and ineffective; propaganda work still has limitations and shortcomings compared to requirements... The weaknesses and existences of society are also difficulties and obstacles to ideological work. It requires the propaganda team to increasingly innovate, improve their capacity and operational efficiency to maintain and expand the Party's ideological battlefield, contributing to pushing back distorted perceptions and negative manifestations in society; promote the dynamism, positivity and creativity of workers, significantly changing the face of life of the whole society. In particular, propaganda affirms the consistent viewpoint and line of our Party and State to resolutely protect independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and protect a peaceful environment to maintain political stability and socio-economic development. Timely defeat all plots and activities of "peaceful evolution" and sabotage of the Party and State by hostile forces at home and abroad.

In the coming time, propaganda work needs to focus on implementing key tasks: Directing Party committees and authorities at all levels to develop action programs to effectively implement the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress; continuing to implement Conclusion 02-KL/TU of the Politburo on the socio-economic situation in 2011; Resolution 11-NQ/CP; Directive 03-CT/TU of the Politburo on "Continuing to promote studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". Continuing to innovate the content and methods of ideological work, creating consensus in the political system to gather and unite the entire population to successfully implement major policies, programs and key projects of the province; clarifying a number of issues that still have different opinions. Ideological work must take the lead in effectively overcoming weaknesses and shortcomings, innovating the research and implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and political education in schools. Continue to promote the advantages in oral propaganda work, political theory education, and journalism work, truly taking the lead in carrying out the important task of building our Party and our political system to be truly clean and strong, increasingly meeting the requirements of innovation, comprehensive integration, and sustainable development of our homeland and country.
