Cua Lo Town summarizes the election of the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels
(Baonghean) -This morning, June 6, Cua Lo town held a conference to summarize the election of the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2011-2016.
Cua Lo has 47 election teams and constituencies with a total of 32,675 voters on the list. Up to now, the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels in the town has been a great success with a voter turnout rate of 100%.
Thanks to good propaganda, security and order and consultation work, voters participated in voting in groups quite concentratedly and achieved quite good results: 02 candidates for the 13th National Assembly, 3 provincial People's Council delegates, 30 candidates for the People's Council of the town, 175 candidates for the People's Council of the ward were elected for the 2011-2016 term. Cua Lo town is the locality in the province that completed the synthesis work early and submitted the results to the province.
This result was achieved thanks to the proactiveness of the Party committees, authorities, departments and organizations from the town to the grassroots level in implementing the election steps and procedures in a democratic and legal manner, especially the propaganda work carried out in many rich and diverse forms, thereby creating a sense of self-awareness in each citizen to actively participate in the election day. On the other hand, the election protection work was seriously implemented by the town; the Election Committee's support team knew how to apply information technology in the election implementation process, which also helped localities and the Town Election Committee synthesize results quickly and accurately, and promptly report on the implementation progress.
On this occasion, the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 1 individual, and the Chairman of the Town People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 35 groups and 37 individuals with outstanding achievements in the recent election work.
