The 13th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee has 18 members, including one NA Chairman, four NA Vice Chairmen (in charge of four areas: culture - society, economy - finance, law - justice, national defense - security) and 13 NA Standing Committee members.

Thus, the number and structure of the Standing Committee of the 13th National Assembly remain unchanged compared to the 12th term.

Today (July 22), the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve this report. After that, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong presented a list of nominees for the National Assembly to elect the National Assembly Chairman, Vice Chairmen and members of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Tomorrow (July 23), after discussing and approving the personnel list for the above positions, the National Assembly will elect the Chairman of the National Assembly, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly and members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.

After being elected, the new National Assembly Chairman will deliver his inaugural speech and preside over the following sessions. On behalf of the new National Assembly Standing Committee, the Chairman will nominate personnel for the National Assembly to elect as President.

On Monday (July 25), the National Assembly elected the president.

Immediately after his inauguration speech, the new president will introduce a list of nominees for the National Assembly to elect the Vice President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
