On the morning of August 20, 2011, one day before the final match between Hanoi T&T and Song Lam Nghe An, at the ticket booth of Vinh City Stadium - where the match took place, people and vehicles were packed. On the morning of August 20, 2011, one day before the final match between Hanoi T&T and Song Lam Nghe An, at the ticket booth of Vinh City Stadium - where the match took place, people and vehicles were packed. Just like before every match that promises to attract a large number of spectators to watch and cheer, the "black market" ticket "brokers" are rampant.

According to the announcement, the Organizing Committee will not open ticket sales until 9am tomorrow (August 21), but for the past few days, fans have been able to buy any type of ticket from the "brokers", of course at "exorbitant" prices. A ticket for a seat in the A1 stand, originally priced at 50,000 VND, is being sold by the "brokers" for 750,000 VND - no bargaining, the A2 stand, originally priced at 40,000 VND/ticket, is being sold for 600,000 VND/ticket, and tickets to gates 5, 7, 8 (seats behind the goal) are originally priced at only 20,000 VND/ticket, but fans have to pay 10 times more: 200,000 VND/ticket.

People were really upset when audiences with real needs had a hard time buying tickets sold by the Organizing Committee, while “black market brokers” had been rampant for many days before. One “broker” confidently asserted: “There will never be any more tickets for stand A in there, if you want to buy, buy them here or else tomorrow there won’t be any more black market tickets”, and sneered when we showed disbelief! Many “brokers” were ready to meet our needs even when we needed “4 tickets to sit next to each other in stand A”!

This situation has existed for many years, causing much frustration among the people. We request that the authorities, especially the Vinh Stadium Organizing Committee, take immediate measures to rectify and end this situation.

Right from the gate, the ticket broker held a stack of tickets in his hand, offering them.
fan.

Bored and tired waiting for the ticket counter to open.

A successful bargain - this man agreed to buy 4 tickets to sit in stand C for a total of 750,000 VND.
