(Baonghean.vn) This winter, Chau Kim commune (Que Phong district) will conduct a trial planting of 2 hectares of clean vegetables, including varieties such as mustard greens, sweet cabbage, kohlrabi, and regular cabbage, focusing on Choi and Muong villages - areas along rivers and streams with favorable water sources.

The commune's 30-person team directly guides the villagers on the techniques of planting and caring for vegetables. Besides growing vegetables, the villagers also plant corn in hilly areas and barren, water-scarce lands. In some suitable areas, after harvesting the rice crop, the villagers quickly prepare the land to plant vegetables, ensuring a timely harvest for the Tet holiday.
