Moon of Love Festival

(Baonghean) –Last night, September 12 (the full moon night of the Mid-Autumn Festival), despite the heavy rain, power outage, and intermittent generator power, the Tan Ky District Cultural Center was packed with people. Children in the mountainous district of Tan Ky had a very warm and happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

Despite the pouring rain, the provincial working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, together with leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Department of Education and Training; Provincial Police, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Women's Union; Provincial Children's Support Fund; and leaders of Tan Ky district were still present at the Tan Ky district cultural center to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the children.

Grandfather and grandson traveled more than 10 km from Giai Xuan commune to town to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

At 6 pm on August 15th, the stage decoration was completed, the hall was filled with the red color of star lanterns and balloons. After comrade Nguyen Duy Thuy - Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee read the Mid-Autumn Festival greeting letter from the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, there were performances reenacting the Mid-Autumn Festival legend performed by students from Tan Ky Town Primary and Secondary School.

Nguyen Thi Ha Phuong, Ky Tan Primary School (Tan Ky), happily said: This is the happiest Mid-Autumn Festival night of my life so far. Surely my joy is also the joy of many friends, brothers and sisters, and children of Ky Son Primary School. Tra Giang, Lat Town Kindergarten School, also happily said: "I am very happy, I really like to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival like tonight every year."

Representatives of departments, branches, businesses and Tan Ky district presented gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances.

The Love Moon Festival also witnessed businesses, sponsors, groups and individuals supporting and helping children in especially difficult circumstances in Tan Ky district with a total amount of nearly 60 million VND.

The festival ended but the joy and excitement of the children of Tan Ky still spread. They sang the song Tung dinh dinh, tung dinh dinh with the bustling sound of frog drums and bright star lanterns.
