215th Tank Brigade: Congress of Emulation for Victory

(Baonghena) -This morning, October 26th, the 215th Tank Brigade – Armored Corps held its Emulation Congress to summarize and evaluate the emulation and reward work and the emulation movement for victory during the 2008-2011 period.

The congress report stated: The emulation movement for decisive victory of Brigade 215 during the 2008-2011 period was comprehensively implemented with many well-organized and high-quality activities. The movement was closely linked to the effective implementation of the "Studying and Following the Moral Example of Ho Chi Minh" campaign, closely adhering to the unit's political tasks. Training quality and combat readiness were continuously improved; officers and soldiers were always determined to readily accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks. The emulation movement truly served as an important driving force contributing to building a strong and comprehensive Brigade.

Commendations were awarded to collectives and individuals who performed well in the "Determined to Win" emulation movement from 2008 to 2011.

Through the implementation of the emulation movement during the 2008-2011 period, the Brigade has produced many exemplary advanced units: 195 collectives and 852 individuals were awarded, including 38 collectives that received emulation flags, the title of "Unit of Decisive Victory," and commendations from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Health, and the Armored Corps. Notably, in 2008 the Brigade was awarded the Third Class Order of National Defense by the President, the Flag of Excellent Training Unit by the Ministry of National Defense, and the Flag of Leading Unit in the "Determined Victory" emulation movement during the 2004-2009 period by the Armored Command.

During the period 2011-2013, the Brigade continued to promote and further improve the quality of all aspects of the "Determined to Win" emulation movement. The Congress adopted a resolution addressed to officers and soldiers in the unit, urging them to uphold the traditions of the unit as a Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces, to be united, democratic, disciplined, dynamic, creative, to excel in training, maintain strict discipline, build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and progressively modern unit, and to excellently fulfill all assigned tasks.
