Closing ceremony of the 2011 Nghe An Province Commune and Ward Football Tournament.

(Baonghean.vn) After four days of exciting competition, the closing ceremony of the 2011 Nghe An Province Commune and Ward Football Tournament took place on October 29th at Thai Hoa Town Stadium.

This year's tournament has the largest number of participating teams ever (17 teams selected from the qualifying rounds of districts, cities, and towns with 216 players) and, for the first time, has attracted sponsorship from businesses such as Bac A Bank, Viettel, IBD Company, and Hafood.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the Championship Cup to Dien Chau team, second place to Thai Hoa Town, and joint third place to Quy Hop and Thanh Chuong. With 13 goals scored in the tournament, Dang Van Chung (Dien Chau) won both the top scorer and best player awards. The goalkeeper of Thai Hoa Town team won the Best Goalkeeper award.

Through this tournament, the organizing committee has selected outstanding players to prepare for the 2012 national commune/ward football finals.
