Nghe An Provincial People's Committee holds regular meeting in November

(Baonghean) - This morning, November 22, under the chairmanship of comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a regular meeting in November, listening to and giving opinions on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan; state budget estimate; implementation of administrative reform work in November; tasks and solutions for December.

In November, the whole province focused on implementing well 10 key socio-economic tasks; overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; building new rural areas; stabilizing market prices; progress of investment projects; mineral management; effectively implementing solutions to curb inflation, stabilize the macro-economy, ensure social security, and continue to develop the economy well. Budget revenue reached over 6,066 billion VND, equal to 127.4% of the estimate; of which, domestic revenue reached 132.1% of the estimate, up 56% over the same period, import-export tax reached 98.5%.

Total budget expenditure in 11 months reached VND9,933 billion, equal to 95.4% of the estimate. Sectors and localities have done a good job of controlling expenditures and strictly implementing Resolution 11 of the Government. Indicators on agricultural and industrial production continued to grow; service sectors maintained their growth rate; investment promotion and business development activities were implemented. In the first 11 months of the year, investment certificates were granted to 74 newly registered projects with a registered capital of nearly VND19 trillion and 1,024 enterprises were granted business registration certificates....

After listening to the report and comments, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Duc Phoc concluded, emphasizing the tasks and solutions that need to be implemented in the coming time: focusing on curbing inflation, stabilizing the macro-economy; Actively inspecting, urging, and removing difficulties for enterprises to boost industrial production, circulation of goods, and improve the competitiveness of products; strengthening price stabilization, doing a good job of market management; tightening state management in the fields of minerals, land; urban order, traffic safety; strengthening inspection and control of the banking credit system to ensure loans for enterprises; allocating capital for key projects. In the immediate future, focus on preparing well for the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting.
