Provincial People's Council reviews reports of internal affairs sectors

(Baonghean) -Continuing the program of examining legal fields, on the morning of November 23, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council organized the examination and gave opinions on a number of important contents in preparation for the 3rd session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVI.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee chaired the meeting.

In the reports reviewed by the Legal Committee on the second working day, the issue that most concerned delegates was the results of administrative reform in 2011.


Overview of the meeting

At the meeting, members of the Legal Committee and the Provincial People's Council focused on discussing, proposing and recommending further evaluation in the report on the results of public finance reform; paying attention to the civil service examination to ensure attracting talented people; the issue of improving and creating real changes in the quality and ethics of public service of cadres and civil servants; the issue of converting management levels and organizational apparatus needs to be paid attention to in order to ensure simplicity, compactness, efficiency, and suitability to management requirements...

Also at the meeting, the Legal Committee reviewed and commented on the report on the enforcement of civil judgments in 2011 and the submissions and draft resolutions on the level of expenditure to ensure the inspection, handling, review and systematization of legal documents in the province; the submission and draft resolutions on the abolition of a number of support policies for establishments causing serious environmental pollution that must relocate in the province stated in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial People's Council.

Concluding each report content, comrade Nguyen Huu Lam requested that the sectors and units assigned to draft the report should fully absorb and supplement the valid opinions that the Legal Committee had commented on and agreed to present at the 3rd session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVI.
