(Baonghean.vn) - With nearly 20 years in the profession, teacher Nguyen Thi Hien - Principal of Chau Thang Kindergarten (Quy Chau), always believes that for a school to be strong, it is necessary to create a united collective, knowing how to share and help each other in work, dedicated to the profession, loving the school, loving children...
In 1989, after completing the Central Intermediate Childcare Class I, Hanoi, teacher Nguyen Thi Hien from Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city) volunteered to go to the mountainous district of Quy Chau to work at Lien Co B kindergarten (today's Tan Lac town kindergarten), then worked at kindergartens in Chau Binh and Chau Hoi communes. In 2009, Ms. Hien was appointed as Principal of Chau Thang commune kindergarten. Recalling the first days of coming to the school, Ms. Hien confided: "The people here are very poor, there is not enough rice to eat, it is difficult for parents to send their children to school, let alone send them to kindergarten." Through her time teaching, she realized that maintaining the number of students at the school was really difficult, because the custom of ethnic minorities sending their children to the fields when their parents go to work is still deeply ingrained in the people's thinking.
Teacher Nguyen Thi Hien
With the concern of how to attract children to class, she encouraged her colleagues to attend class one day, visit parents' homes the other day, talk, learn about their circumstances, aspirations and encourage them not to send their children to the fields but to send their children to class to ensure their health and to learn to read and write. In addition, she has summarized many innovative experiences to apply in practice such as: "Nutrition education - food hygiene and safety", "Organizing meals for children aged 24 to 36 months" and "Caring for malnourished children". From there, creating conditions for the teaching staff to strive and practice to improve the quality of teaching. Up to now, the School has developed strongly in both scale and quality, becoming a reliable address for parents to choose.
With 17 years of working and nearly 3 years of attachment to Chau Thang Kindergarten, in the position of principal, in addition to her passion for the profession, love for children, and wholehearted devotion to the preschool career, Ms. Hien always shares and helps both spiritually and materially with all the sisters in the school, especially those in difficult and difficult circumstances. Therefore, the school always has a team of teachers who are enthusiastic about their work, always ready to sacrifice personal interests for the common cause, contributing to bringing Chau Thang Kindergarten from a poor school of the district to an advanced school, a school that meets national standards level I. Ms. Hien personally has been an Excellent Teacher at the district and provincial levels for 8 consecutive years, and a grassroots emulation fighter for many years. She was also honored to receive the title of Good at public work, good at housework in the period 2000-2005, 2005-2010.
