(Baonghean) - This morning, December 23, Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association held a summary meeting of 10 years of implementing Directive 26 CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on "Creating conditions for farmers' associations at all levels to participate in resolving farmers' complaints and denunciations".

After 10 years of implementing Directive 26 CT-TTg of the Prime Minister, the Farmers' Association has proactively coordinated with the People's Committees at the same level and functional agencies such as the Inspectorate, Natural Resources and Environment, Justice, etc. to direct the implementation and achieved remarkable results. From 2001 to present, it has organized over 1,200 training courses on legal policies related to farmers and rural areas; assisted nearly 34,000 cases for over 500,000 farmers; participated in the mediation of nearly 20,000 cases. Up to now, 100% of communes and towns have built legal bookcases; built and effectively maintained the model of "Farmers with the Law" club; organized competitions to learn about the law for farmers.

At the conference, delegates contributed ideas and discussed solutions to resolve farmers' complaints in the coming time. In particular, focusing on the following solutions: Strengthening coordination between authorities at all levels, relevant sectors and the Farmers' Association in receiving citizens, grasping the situation of complaints and denunciations to thoroughly resolve cases; focusing on disseminating and educating the law to farmers; innovating the content and methods of operation of Farmers' Associations at all levels...
