Survey of border marker placement at Tam Hop sub-border gate (Tuong Duong)

(Baonghean.vn) -Implementing the plan of the Vietnam - Laos Joint Committee, today February 16, the Vietnam - Laos Border Marker Planting Joint Delegation surveyed the marker planting location at Tam Hop Sub-Border Gate (Tuong Duong - Nghe An).

Leading the survey delegation, on the Lao side was Comrade Phu Khau - Chief of Office of the Lao National Border Committee; on the Vietnamese side was Comrade Nguyen Anh Dung - Director of the Land Border Department, National Border Committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and leaders of the Border Marker Planting Steering Committee of Nghe An province.

Tam Hop sub-border gate is one of the areas with an important position in the socio-economic development strategy, ensuring national security and defense of the two countries Vietnam - Laos as well as the two provinces of Nghe An and Bolykhamsay.
