Positive changes from high technology application and development

(Baonghean.vn) - In Nghe An, in recent years, high-tech application and development activities have had positive changes in both awareness and action, and have initially contributed to the socio-economic development and national defense and security of the province.

Information technology (IT) is widely applied in all levels, sectors, enterprises and the whole society, contributing significantly to changing and creating new working styles and methods, improving the effectiveness of leadership, management and operation of Party and State agencies, improving labor productivity, production and business efficiency of enterprises and initially creating conditions for accessing global information. Currently, telephones reach 100% of remote communes (including areas without electricity grid; there are 2,079 mobile base stations (BTS); fiber optic cables reach 100% of district centers, post offices III (410/479 communes, wards and towns have fiber optic cables); total broadband Internet subscribers in the province reach 72,875 subscribers; there are nearly 300 thousand computers in the province; the province's online meeting system and specialized data transmission network connect 100% of districts with the province and the Central Government...

Every year, the province trains over 800 engineers, bachelors of information technology, and about 4,000 IT technicians; IT teaching in general schools is invested and developed quite well (currently 100% of high schools, 21/3/424 secondary schools and 126/542 primary schools have IT in their teaching); most schools are equipped with computers connected to the Internet for teaching and learning.

Thanks to the application of biotechnology, a number of new varieties of crops and livestock such as rice, corn, peanuts, cassava, tea, sugarcane, oranges, dairy cows, tiger shrimp... have high productivity and good quality. The application of advanced VietGap farming techniques in production has contributed decisively to increasing the productivity, output of crops, livestock and the quality of products in the province. A typical example is Vinamilk's high-tech dairy farming in Nghe An with a total herd of 6,000 cows, of which 3,000 are milk cows; Industrial-scale concentrated dairy farming and milk processing using Israeli technology by TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company with a total herd of 45,000 cows in 2012, of which 20,000 are dairy cows, this is the first high-tech agricultural investment project in our province, contributing significantly to the transformation of crop-livestock structure, changing economic structure and awareness in the agricultural sector, and creating jobs for workers...

In the environmental field, CNC has been applied to treat food industry wastewater using combined anaerobic + aerobic treatment technology, aerobic biological technology, UASB + aerobic technology...; treat medical wastewater using VN 2000 technology (Aerotank + biological filter); treat rural organic waste using BIOGAS biogas tank technology and biological products to decompose organic matter.

Applying high technology to production in the food processing industry, mining and processing of minerals, construction materials, construction and installation of civil and industrial works, etc. helps businesses improve product quality, develop market share, increase revenue, increase income for workers, improve working conditions. Some businesses proactively invest in technological innovation, apply high technology to production, initially bringing high efficiency such as: Beer, sugar, milk, tapioca starch, beer cans, cement, granite bricks, superfine white stone powder...

Successfully applying high techniques and technologies in medical examination and treatment to serve people's health care such as: Endoscopy, Pha Co surgery, Longo surgery, joint replacement surgery, vascular intervention, microvascular plastic surgery...; 3D, 4D color ultrasound; City Scanner, magnetic resonance imaging, digital X-ray, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), fluorescence angiography...

Deeply aware of the role and great impact of CNC application and development on the socio-economic development of the province, the Provincial Party Committee has approved the "Program for CNC application and development in Nghe An for the period 2011-2015, with a view to 2020" and soon issued a Resolution on this field.
