Effective QPAN education activities, many-sided changes

Last year, the Provincial National Defense Education Council was strengthened to perform well its advisory function to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, implementing synchronously, uniformly, effectively, and having many positive changes in the work of National Defense Education and Security. The activities of the National Defense Education and Security Council at all levels were well organized. The work of fostering knowledge of National Defense and Security for more than 340 classes with more than 33,200 students ensured both quantity and quality, including a new feature of fostering knowledge for members of the National Defense Education and Security Council, organizing "military semesters".

Universities, colleges, vocational secondary schools, vocational secondary schools, and high schools have organized teaching and learning of National Defense and Security Education according to the program distribution for hundreds of thousands of students. The National Defense and Security Education Council has done a good job of inspecting National Defense and Security Education activities in 20 districts, cities, towns, and 15 universities, colleges, and vocational secondary schools. Police at all levels have organized more than 5,000 propaganda sessions for 354,000 people about families that do not violate the law and social evils. Propaganda work on National Defense and Security Education has been effective, focusing on the topic of protecting sovereignty over seas and islands.

In 2012, the National Defense Education Council at all levels continued to effectively implement Directive 12 of the Politburo, Decree 116 of the Government, Regulation 07 of the Central Organizing Committee on National Defense Education; Improve the quality and duration of national defense education propaganda on mass media about sea and island strategy, rights and sovereignty of the Fatherland in the East Sea; Link national defense education with improving the effectiveness of the political system, building a solid national defense and security posture, building a safe foundation for mastery and combat readiness.
