Accompanying him were Mr. Le Xuan Dai - Standing Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of several provincial departments and branches.
(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the working program in Nghe An province, on the afternoon of February 21, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade had a working session with Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company. Before the working session with Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company, the Deputy Minister and the working delegation inspected the construction progress at the Hua Na Hydropower construction site. After more than 4 years of construction, up to now, the main items of Hua Na Hydropower have been basically completed, with the total construction volume of the dam and spillway reaching 413,000 / 448,000 m3. The water intake item carried out 10,000 m3 of concrete, the elevation reached 231.6m / 244.5m. For the factory, the volume carried out was 33,000 m3, reaching 78%, completing the installation of crane beams.

The domestic equipment manufacturing work has reached more than 80% of the volume. The construction and installation of the 220 KV line connecting Hua Na hydropower plant to Thanh Hoa province, 74.5 km long, is also being urgently carried out by the construction units. 203 concrete bases - foundation pillars have been poured, 174 steel electric poles have been installed and are expected to be completed by the end of April 2012. Regarding compensation, support and resettlement, the Investor has also completed the inventory of the current status, established and publicized the compensation plan for 14/14 reservoir beds. Construction has been implemented at 12/16 resettlement sites, of which 5 resettlement sites have been completed.
Concluding the meeting, comrade Hoang Quoc Vuong highly appreciated the efforts of the staff and workers of Hua Na Hydropower Company, the contractors as well as the active direction of Nghe An province in the recent past. However, to ensure the progress of storing water in the reservoir in June 2012 and generating electricity from 2 Hua Na Hydropower units in the 4th quarter of 2012, he said that Hua Na Hydropower Company and the contractors need to speed up the construction progress further, but ensure the quality of the project.
For resettlement work, the investor needs to closely coordinate with Que Phong district, clear the land, support and resettle people in a timely manner, resolve problems and always prioritize capital to carry out this work. In addition, speed up the construction progress of resettlement sites, ensure all essential conditions and complete before April 30, 2012. Strengthen propaganda and mobilization work to help people understand the purpose and significance of the project in ensuring national energy security so that people support and urgently move people out of the reservoir area.
