The memorial ceremony was held according to traditional rituals, expressing gratitude and the affection of the entire nation for Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, who made great contributions to the country and the nation, serving as a shining example of moral character, immense sacrifice, and compassion, and who gave birth to and raised President Ho Chi Minh, a world cultural figure and national liberation hero.
Earlier, officials from the Kim Lien Historical Site, along with representatives from the Hoang Xuan and Nguyen Sinh families, visited the tomb of Lady Hoang Thi Loan at Dong Tranh Mountain, Nam Giang commune, to offer flowers and incense and respectfully report their achievements to her.
In June 2011, the tomb of Lady Hoang Thi Loan was preserved and restored to the status of a national historical and cultural relic, a spiritual and cultural site where compatriots, comrades, and people throughout the country, as well as international tourists, come to offer flowers and incense during holidays, Tet, and the Spring festival.
