Tottenham leveled scores with Man United

Beating Everton 2-0 in the make-up match of round 1, Tottenham equalized points with the second-placed team, Man United.

On the night of January 11, the Premier League round 1 make-up match between Tottenham and Everton took place at White Hart Lane.

With home advantage and a much better squad, Tottenham did not have much difficulty dominating the game and controlling the ball against Everton. The home team's advantage was confirmed by the opening goal in the 35th minute. In the remaining minutes, coach David Moyes sent Drenthe onto the field but the away team's attack was still deadlocked against Tottenham's solidity.

The 2-0 victory over Everton helped the home team equalize points with the team ranked 2nd on the rankings, Man United, with 45 points after 20 rounds.
