(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 19, comrade Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television and the working delegation had a working session with the People's Committee of Nghe An province on preparations for the 32nd National Television Festival in Nghe An. Attending the meeting were comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Before working with the provincial leaders, the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien Relic Site and the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - President Ho Chi Minh's mother.

At the meeting, the leaders of Nghe An Radio and Television Station gave a preliminary announcement on the preparations for the 32nd National Television Festival in Vinh City. According to the plan, the opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the Provincial Labor Culture House. The judging and viewing of works will be at the Festival Palace.

Vietnam Television announced the plan for the 32nd National Television Festival. Accordingly, the Festival will be held in mid-December 2012 in Vinh City. The festival will last for 4 days, with about 1,200 delegates, journalists and international guests participating. The main activities of the national television festival are judging, evaluating and awarding prizes to the works of participating units. In addition, the festival will have sideline activities, professional seminars, professional exchanges, thematic seminars related to localities of interest and exhibitions on television technology, domestic and foreign television films.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc affirmed: The National Television Festival is a major event of the media and social sector. This is an opportunity for the province to widely promote the image of the homeland and people of Nghe An to domestic and international friends. On the province's side, a Steering Committee will be established, planning will be done, ensuring service and security and order will be ensured, creating favorable conditions for the National Television Festival to take place successfully.
