Professor Sergey Rodionov, the head of the research project, announced that they have successfully developed a drug that can effectively cure hepatitis C in just one month. This is the result of scientific research that began 20 years ago.

The new drug called Profetal developed by Russian scientists has the main ingredient of alpha-fetoprotein found in the human body and it has the ability to eliminate hepatitis C virus from the human body.

The special thing about alpha-fetoprotein is that it penetrates into the cells where the virus resides. Then, antiviral drugs will do the rest, completely destroying the agents that cause hepatitis C.

As a result, patients with this disease can be cured within just 1 month.

This drug has been successfully tested on 30 people with hepatitis C. All 30 patients were injected with Profetal for 30 days, once a day, and were completely cured and showed no signs of recurrence after about 2 years. The cost of treatment for one patient is about 250,000 rubles (more than 8,300 USD).

Tests have shown that the drug developed by Russian scientists is much more effective than traditional drugs to treat hepatitis C. Treatment of hepatitis C with traditional drugs takes many years and costs up to millions of rubles.

In addition, in reality, traditional medicines can only eliminate the symptoms but cannot completely cure the disease.

Scientists from the Ural State Medical University say that using Profetal will increase the level of antibodies in the blood by up to ten times and patients can be completely cured. Importantly, this miracle drug is 10 times cheaper than traditional drugs.

The Profetal drug patent project was granted 960 million rubles (equivalent to 32 million USD) and the drug has been recognized and licensed for circulation by the Russian Ministry of Health.
