Nghe An: 678 million VND to support Ha Giang people to eliminate poverty

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, the Nghe An Border Guard force has actively responded to the program "Spring with Ha Giang people in the northernmost part of the country" organized by the Border Guard Command in coordination with Ha Giang province.

The program's goal is to support funding to help people in Ha Giang province develop their socio-economy, overcome poverty, stabilize their lives and contribute to building an increasingly strong border.

The Nghe An Border Guard has actively mobilized socio-political organizations, businesses, and philanthropists in the province to actively participate in supporting the program. As of March 5, the whole province has raised a total of 678 million VND, of which Nghe An province has decided to allocate 500 million VND from the "fund for the poor" to support Ha Giang people and 178 million VND is the amount of money contributed by 23 businesses and philanthropists in the province.
