The President warmly visited and wished the officials a happy new year

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Phan Dinh Trac reported the province's socio-economic results last year to the President and members of the delegation. Despite many difficulties and natural disasters, Nghe An achieved and exceeded many targets in 2011: Total budget revenue reached over 7 trillion VND, ranking first in the North Central region and 13th in the country... President Truong Tan Sang expressed his joy and commended the Party Committee, Government and people of Nghe An for their many achievements last year. The President noted that provincial and district leaders need to pay attention to taking care of policy families, people with meritorious services, the poor, people in mountainous areas and ethnic minorities to ensure that everyone has a happy and warm Tet holiday. The province needs to pay attention to investing in developing infrastructure in Western Nghe An to gradually reduce the gap between the rich and the poor between the mountainous and lowland areas, between rural and urban areas.
