Building a model regulation "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 11, in Vinh City, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee summarized the Propaganda work in 2011 and deployed tasks for 2012. The report by comrade Thai Khac Thu - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department assessed that last year, despite the general difficulties globally, domestically and in the province, the socio-economic situation and national defense and security in Nghe An continued to be stable, ensuring social security. This result was contributed by the activities of the Propaganda Department at all levels in the province. In 2011, the Propaganda Department at all levels did well in 8 tasks, including the good implementation of Directive 03 of the Politburo to continue promoting "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh".

Comrade To Hong Hai awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2011.

Propaganda work last year, especially the dissemination of the Party Congress Resolution at all levels to nearly 80 classes for more than 900 key provincial-level cadres and nearly 18,000 key grassroots cadres. Information and social opinion work, information on current events in many fields for nearly 1,000 reporters. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department published 12 internal information issues with more than 170,000 copies to serve monthly Party cell activities. Political theory education at all levels opened more than 1,580 classes on propaganda, political theory training, and training for new Party members for nearly 172,000 students.

Cultural, artistic, press and publishing work served political tasks well. Science and education work improved the quality of consulting, inspecting and supervising the implementation of Party directives and resolutions. Propaganda at all levels provided good advice on summarizing 4 years of implementing the Campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example".

However, propaganda work still has limitations that need to be overcome in terms of economic propaganda, good people and good deeds, advisory roles, understanding ideological developments, managing activities of resident representative agencies, responding to press information in a timely manner, and purchasing and using Party newspapers and magazines that are not in accordance with regulations of the Central and the province.

Concluding the conference, comrade To Hong Hai acknowledged that the propaganda work in 2011 contributed to the Party Committee and people of the province's efforts to successfully implement the goals and plans, stabilize politics, promote socio-economic development, maintain national defense and security, and create trust among the people. In 2012, propaganda at all levels needs to do well in the contents of propaganda work, especially paying attention to better implementing Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to promote "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" in a voluntary and regular manner, in conjunction with implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Conference of the 11th tenure on some urgent issues on Party building; building a regulation on setting an example, spreading typical examples of following Uncle Ho, and having a mechanism for people to monitor the following actions of cadres and party members.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department commended 48 propaganda units and political training centers for excellently completing their tasks in 2011.
