During 2 days, May 9-10, Thai Hoa Town Youth Union organized the 2nd Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2012-2017. Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and 140 delegates representing 17,200 Youth Union members in the town.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and 140 delegates representing 17,200 Youth Union members in the town.
During the past term, the Youth Union of the town organized orientation and career counseling for 2,520 young union members, and coordinated the organization of 10 short-term vocational training classes for young union members. Through the delegation activities, the Youth Union chapters at all levels helped 677 young union members borrow capital with an amount of over 3 billion VND. Young union members actively participated in social activities, with 1,118 young union members registering to donate blood; nearly 3,500 young union members participating in maintaining traffic order and safety. Over 10,000 young union members participated in building new rural areas with 30 km of roads, 24 km of intra-field canals, etc.; introduced 500 outstanding union members to the Party for admission.; undertake more than 1,000 youth projects and tasks, worth about 2 billion VND.
