Russia supports and backs any decision of the Syrian people

Russia believes that the peopleSyriacapable of deciding the future of their country.

On March 17, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov voiced support for any decision by the Syrian people on who will lead their country, and once again called for a ceasefire and political negotiations in this country engulfed in instability and violence.
