After nearly 58 years, his simple words with great thoughts had the opportunity to resound at the foot of Nghia Linh mountain, through the play: "His words, the words of the country" performed by the Drama Troupe of the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Heritage.
The play “His words, the words of the country” was performed on the evening of March 30, 2012 as part of the activities of the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day – Hung Temple Festival; it is a special performance that has created a great resonance throughout the country with more than 500 performances in 3 years. It was awarded the B prize by the Vietnam Stage Artists Association for the best stage work in 2008 and was performed for the first time in Phu Tho. The play consists of 7 small, ordinary stories of everyday life that carry great thoughts that took place in the revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh. In the play, the image of the President is recreated in a very realistic and familiar way. That is a Ho Chi Minh who always has a pain in his heart because the South is living under bombs and bullets, is Uncle Ho's attachment to the people of the Central Highlands, is his deep homesickness during his two visits to his hometown Nghe An, is the heart of a younger brother who always carries heavy thoughts in his heart because he always feels guilty towards his family, towards his brothers and sisters; is a leader who always cares about nurturing the younger generation, cares for the people from the matter of tomato sauce, fish sauce, salt...
Uncle Ho taught: As a cadre, you must take care of the people from tomato sauce to fish sauce and salt.
With the form of one layer following another like chapters, his great soul and character were clearly described with a height of intelligence, extraordinary talent, grasping the laws of development of nature and history, and political sensitivity, to make genius predictions and decisions for the nation. His teachings and reminders are truly great lessons... Like the previous performances, the play "His words, the words of the country" this time was performed at the central stage of the festival of the Hung Temple National Historical and Cultural Relic Site and received a lot of support from the audience. Despite the pouring rain - due to the influence of the monsoon, thousands of Phu Tho people and tourists from all over still braved the rain and wind, attentively watching. Uncle Ho's thoughts and feelings for the country and its people were clearly expressed through each action and dialogue. The mellow folk melodies, imbued with Nghe An's identity, in the play made many viewers unable to contain their emotions.
Thousands of people braved the rain to watch "Words of the People, Words of the Country"
Having watched it many times on TV channels, Mr. Pham Ngoc Hoan, in Tam Nong district (Phu Tho), still decided to travel nearly 20 km of muddy and rainy roads to the Commemoration Ceremony to see the play in its entirety and visually. Mr. Hoan explained: It all stems from the love of children and grandchildren for the father of the nation. According to him, this play is very meaningful, especially for the younger generation. Watching the show, I saw many spectators passing by stop and have tears in their eyes. I really enjoyed watching the actors perform, especially the actor who played Uncle Ho was very successful in portraying Uncle Ho's image, making me feel like he was Uncle Ho himself, Uncle Ho is still alive with us forever... As for Mr. Nguyen Quang Tru - a tourist from Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province, who came to participate in the Hung King's death anniversary, he expressed his feelings: Watching the performance "His words, the words of the country", I and everyone else felt more deeply and remembered more and more the boundless merits of Uncle Ho who went out of his way to save the country for the people so that our people today can live in independence and freedom; from there, the love for the Party and Uncle Ho became greater than ever, then strived to build a new countryside, to build our country to be more and more rich and civilized as Uncle Ho always wished when he was alive... Mr. Tru added: The play has reached a high level of art in both form and content. The service spirit of the actors in Nghe An province's art troupe is very responsible and enthusiastic - performing in heavy rain and the audience's spirit is equally enthusiastic when listening to every sentence and idea...
Mr. Nguyen Dac Thuy, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, assessed: This year's Hung Temple Festival program has the participation of many art troupes, including the art troupe of Nghe An province. We highly appreciate the performances of the art troupe of Nghe An province, especially the large number of people attending and watching the troupe's programs. I feel that in the subconscious of every citizen about the Ancestor's Death Anniversary, there is a perception and connection between the national cultural tradition, the tradition of patriotism - the Hung Kings who built the country with the merits of President Ho Chi Minh; The art program of Nghe An province has created this connection very closely, giving tourists from all over the country the opportunity to witness and admire traditional and contemporary art that clearly demonstrates the morality of drinking water and remembering its source of our nation from generation to generation. The people further remember Uncle Ho's teaching "The Hung Kings built the country/ We, your descendants, must work together to preserve the country". The performance of Nghe An Troupe left many beautiful impressions and was truly meaningful to all the people attending the Hung Temple Festival this year.
