(Baonghean.vn) -Continuing the working agenda, on the afternoon of April 27th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee continued to listen to and give opinions on the Project to adjust the administrative boundaries of Quynh Luu district to establish Hoang Mai town.

The plan to establish Hoang Mai Town (TX) is based on adjusting the entire area and population of Hoang Mai town and 9 neighboring communes, including: Quynh Loc, Quynh Lap, Quynh Vinh, Quynh Di, Mai Hung, Quynh Phuong, Quynh Lien, Quynh Xuan, and Quynh Trang, with a total natural area of ​​nearly 17,000 hectares and a population of 105,105 people, named Hoang Mai Town, Nghe An Province.

Hoang Mai Town is organized into 11 administrative units, including 6 wards: Quynh Thien, Quynh Di, Mai Hung, Quynh Phuong, Quynh Xuan, Dai Vinh and 5 communes: Quynh Vinh, Quynh Loc, Quynh Lap, Quynh Trang and Quynh Lien. After its formation, Hoang Mai Town will be a comprehensive center for economy, culture, science and technology, services, transportation hub, and exchange within the province, serving as a development nucleus for the Northeast region of Nghe An province. The orientation for the coming years is that the town's economic structure will be: Industry – Construction, trade and services.

After hearing the presentation on the plan to establish Hoang Mai town and the approval of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Phan Dinh Trac concluded: The plan needs to clarify the economic and social development orientation of Hoang Mai town, which should be based on the planning of the Southern Thanh Hoa - Northern Nghe An economic zone; the planning of Hoang Mai Industrial Park; the socio-economic planning of the coastal area; and the socio-economic planning of Quynh Luu district.
