Anh Son women join forces to collect waste and protect the environment

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the movement "Anh Son Women join hands to protect the environment" launched by the Women's Union of Anh Son district, the Women's Union of Tao Son commune (Anh Son) - the unit chosen as the district's model for rural environmental protection, coordinated with political organizations and village fronts of the commune to collect waste on village roads, alleys and fields throughout the commune.

More than 750 women's union members and hundreds of union members, youth, and union branches and organizations enthusiastically poured into the roads, ditches, and village roads to collect tons of garbage, plastic bags, waste bags, and bottles containing plant protection chemicals that people had thrown away. In one day of collection, 12 villages in the commune were basically cleaned and ventilated. All the garbage was classified and transported for treatment by union members. This is a meaningful activity that needs to be expanded to other localities in the district in the coming time.
