Free wifi coverage throughout Hue City

The People's Committee of Thua Thien-Hue province has just agreed on the policy of covering the entire city with Wifi Internet to complete the infrastructure and improve the quality of service for tourists and residents.

To deploy Internet-Wifi coverage, Hue City and relevant departments and agencies will survey tourist attractions, tourist attractions, and crowded public places such as train stations, bus stations, boat docks, etc. Based on that, the inter-agency agency will determine priority coverage points to bring the highest efficiency, helping tourists and residents to use free wifi anywhere in Hue City. The installation of the equipment system must ensure urban aesthetics, technology standards, transmission speed, advanced value-added services, easy expansion, and security and safety.

This wifi coverage will be researched based on the experience and technology that has been deployed to deploy wifi throughout Hoi An City. Previously, in 2011, VNPT Thua Thien-Hue converted 27 damaged and abandoned card phone booths into free emergency call stations in crowded places to serve the people and tourists.
