The new valedictorian of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Nguyen Thanh Long, confided: “Today’s results are largely due to the contributions of teachers, especially teachers of specialized subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology). In addition to imparting knowledge to us, teachers also instill enthusiasm, passion and seriousness in studying...” And Long also confessed that he was greatly influenced by his homeroom teacher in terms of being careful and strict with himself. Teacher Dau Hoang Hung is a young doctor of mathematics, 33 years old, with 8 years of experience. He has taught Math for the class since the first years, but only took on the role of homeroom teacher in grade 11; Teacher Tran Ngoc Thang is the youngest teacher born in 1982, teaching Physics, and is very sociable and close to his students; Teacher Hoang Dinh Hung teaches Chemistry, used to be a teacher at Thanh Chuong High School, has just come to the school and taught specialized classes for 2 years now but is full of passion and creativity; Biology teacher Le Ngoc Hung is the oldest and most experienced teacher. The four teachers have four different personalities but they all have in common that they are good at their profession, passionate and dedicated to their students.

Class 12A1 (Phan Boi Chau High School) has 31 students. With standard input, most of them have good learning awareness. And the difficulty is also the motivation because most of them come from far away districts, have to be independent, take care of their own lives, requiring high self-awareness. Right from the beginning of grade 10, the class was thoroughly informed by the homeroom teacher, and a specific learning plan and goals were built, from which teachers and students all tried their best. The experience of students in class 12A1 is that in addition to self-studying and researching at home, they must always have a firm grasp of the types of exercises and questions and increase exchange, group discussion, and debate in class to come up with the most optimal method of doing the exercises. The Facebook page “College Exam Reviewers” ​​created by Long and Ai attracted many members of the class to participate. In addition to cultivating and accumulating knowledge for themselves, they also shared with their friends learning methods, good tips for reviewing, and discussed with each other to find the optimal way to do the test. With that effective learning method, in three years of study, the class was ranked excellent in the school, with 7 national excellent students, of which 3 won second prize, 2 third prize and 2 consolation prizes, 3 were selected to compete in the international excellent student team, 6 students competed in math and 1 student competed in Casio calculator. Vo Nguyen Phu and Vu Hong Ai each won third prize in the national excellent student competition in math in grade 11. In the recent high school graduation exam, the class had 25/31 students achieving excellent results. Notably, in this year's university entrance exam, 100% of students passed the university entrance exam, the lowest score was 22, the highest was 29, the class had 4 valedictorians: Vu Hong Ai (valedictorian of Hanoi National University), Nguyen Hoang Quan (valedictorian of Hanoi National University), Nguyen Thanh Long (valedictorian of Hanoi University of Pharmacy), Nguyen Duc Vinh (valedictorian of Hanoi University of Transport) and runner-up Nguyen Khac Xuan Vinh (Hanoi University of Transport); up to now, the class has 9 students with scores of 27 or higher. Besides, there are also promising students such as Nguyen Tan Sang taking the exam for Military Medical Academy (Military system), Nguyen Duy Lam - Security University, Nguyen Thanh Long, Van Nam Thang taking the B block exam for Medical University are also waiting for their scores with the hope of getting over 28 points.

Vu Hong Ai, valedictorian of Hanoi National University, said: “The majority of us do not study by rote, study like a “bookworm”, but find a scientific, effective method, balancing study and play. It is worth noting that despite being excellent in studying, the students of class 12A1 are also very enthusiastic and passionate in all group activities. The students of the class not only study well but also develop comprehensively, having won many school awards such as: Champion of the 2011 Summer Soccer Tournament; First prize in the school's HKPĐ athletics; Second prize in women's volleyball, men's volleyball, men's chess, men's badminton; Second prize in the art performance of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
