Pay attention to implementing well the Population - Family Planning policy

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, May 24, the Provincial People's Committee continued its regular meeting for May 2012. Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Delegates listened to and commented on the Draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on a number of family planning policies for the 2012-2015 period;Draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on arrangement, staffing and recruitment of specialized population and family planning officers to become health officials in communes, wards and towns and allowance regime for population and family planning collaborators.

Next, the Provincial People's Committee listened to opinions and agreed on the content of the Submission on the proposal to promulgate regulations on minimum revenue and maximum fuel consumption cost percentage (%) for revenue of each type of automobile, construction machine, 4-wheel electric passenger vehicle to serve as a basis for determining the amount of tax payable for organizations and individuals doing business in Nghe An province as reported by the Nghe An Tax Department. The project to implement the national health criteria for the period 2012-2020 was reported by the Department of Health.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Ho Duc Phoc proposed to increase the level of support for cases implementing family planning measures, especially for men; along with that, measures to handle cases of violations of population and family planning policies must be strictly implemented, closely linked with evaluation, classification, emulation and rewards.
