Announcement of the establishment of Quỳ Châu Ethnic Boarding Secondary School

(Baonghean)Quỳ Châu District has just announced the decision to establish a boarding school for ethnic minorities at the lower secondary level.

Accordingly, for the 2012-2013 school year, Quy Chau Ethnic Boarding Secondary School enrolled 75 students in 3 Grade 6 classes, with 14 teachers and staff participating in teaching and management. Eligible applicants were children of ethnic minorities living outside the town, including 5% Kinh children residing in disadvantaged areas for 5 years or more, with good academic performance and good conduct.

During their studies, students receive a full tuition waiver, an 80% scholarship based on the minimum wage, and accommodation and meals at the school. Mr. Pham Manh Hung, Principal of Chau Binh Secondary School in Quy Chau, was appointed Principal of Quy Chau Ethnic Boarding Secondary School for the 2012-2017 term, effective August 20, 2012.
