Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired. At the meeting, delegates gave their opinions on the project to develop the civil servant team for the period 2012-2015 and the following years. Next, delegates listened to the project to adjust the general planning for Vinh City construction for the period up to 2030, with a vision to 2050. The project identifies Vinh City as the place to concentrate important national projects. Strengthening the urban function of Vinh and developing the entire urban area in a unified entity with Cua Lo town and Quan Hanh town. Creating a sustainable ecological urban area on the basis of protecting and maintaining a healthy and safe urban environment that can respond to global environmental change...
The project proposed 5 goals towards Vinh urban development, which are: Sustainable urban growth with the role of a key development pole of the Central region, imbued with the historical tradition of building and defending the country and diverse cultural capital, urban training of talents, symbiosis with the environment based on the advantages of forests and water, safety from natural disasters with a clean environmental foundation.
Delegates said that it is necessary to supplement planning for underground and elevated traffic networks as well as further expand urban space to meet development requirements as urban population increases...
Also this afternoon, delegates attending the meeting listened to reports on the operation and development of Nghe An enterprises, and the Project on training entrepreneurs for the 2012-2015 period up to 2020 reported by the Department of Planning and Investment.
