With the theme "Youth join hands to build new countryside", this year's summer volunteer campaign, Vinh University organized many programs and activities towards the countryside: helping people repair and renovate houses; building roads; irrigation in the fields; helping people move livestock out of residential areas; vocational communication for rural youth...

At the same time, organize the program "Supporting the exam season" with 19 teams focusing on activities from June 30 to July 11; volunteer teams return to poor communes of the districts: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Que Phong, Quy Hop, Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Hung Nguyen; Organize social work teams to teach summer and operate at SOS children's villages; volunteer activities on the spot; carry out youth projects...

In particular, responding to the year of Vietnam-Laos solidarity and friendship, the School Youth Union established an international volunteer team in Bolikhamxay province (Laos) with 40 volunteers to carry out activities: teaching Vietnamese language, information technology and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Laos.

The 17th summer volunteer campaign in 2012 of Vinh University attracted more than 10,000 soldiers to participate in 38 volunteer teams, aiming to promote the spirit and youth for the community; build solidarity between the school and localities; and strengthen and improve the quality of Union and Association activities.
