Reviewing reports and draft resolutions on health - population/family planning to submit to the Provincial People's Council

Regarding the submission and draft resolution on approving the unit price of medical examination and treatment services in the province, the delegates all affirmed the necessity to increase the unit price of medical services. However, it is important to carefully consider to come up with a suitable increase level and roadmap. At the same time, explain specifically the source to implement the increase in unit price of services to support patients. Along with that, it is necessary to strengthen supervision to avoid abuse of the use of health insurance funds; urgently implement universal health insurance to reduce difficulties for people.

Regarding the Proposal and draft resolution on population policy - family planning, the new point this time is to increase the level of support for communes, wards and towns that do well in population - family planning work; policies for hamlets, villages and communes that do not have people having a third child; policies for individuals implementing measures and contents related to population - family planning; policies for population - family planning workers; specific measures to handle violations against agencies, units and individuals that violate population - family planning policy.

In conclusion, on behalf of the Committee for Culture and Social Affairs, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son highly agreed with the contents that the Health sector has developed; at the same time, he requested the sector to fully prepare the contents to explain to the Provincial People's Council with persuasiveness, legal basis, and practicality, because this is an issue related to the majority of people. Pay attention to calculating and proposing the increase in unit prices of services in accordance with the framework permitted by the Central Government, the ultimate goal is to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment; population and family planning work has many positive changes. On the other hand, pay attention to the funding source to ensure the implementation of the 2 proposals when the Provincial People's Council decides to approve them at the next session.
