Thai Hoa Town: Training for commune and ward People's Council representatives

(Baonghean.vn) -On August 14th, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Thai Hoa Town organized a training session for 253 delegates of the People's Councils of communes and wards, term 2011-2016.

The delegates were briefed on key topics such as: the position, role, functions, duties, powers, and operating methods of the People's Council and its representatives at the commune and ward levels; skills in interacting with voters and citizens; presentation, questioning, and discussion skills; and verification and supervision skills of People's Council representatives. These are essential knowledge points to apply in practice to effectively fulfill the position, role, and responsibilities of elected representatives.
