From August 14th to 21st, Nghe An Newspaper received the following complaints, denunciations, and suggestions:

- Mr. Ho Dinh Thuan, residing in Tan Dong hamlet, Dong Van commune, Tan Ky district, complained about the response to his complaint letter from the Chairman of the Tan Ky District People's Committee and Official Letter No. 101/TB-UBND dated August 10, 2012, from the Tan Ky District People's Reception Office regarding the Dong Van Commune People's Committee's instruction to local officials and some residents to demolish the drainage ditch for his family's pond, claiming it was contrary to the law; Mr. Pham Viet Viet, a resident of Tan Dong hamlet, hired people to block the drainage ditch, causing flooding of nearly 1 hectare of rice fields, affecting yield and damaging 1 sao (approximately 1000 square meters) of water spinach belonging to his family.

- A petition from the residents of Duc Lien hamlet, Duc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, regarding their disagreement with the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Hamlet 15, Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district. The proposed location does not comply with regulations regarding distance and height, and the residents' opinions have not been considered.

- Mr. Ho Trong Xuan, from Hamlet 8, Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District, requests that the newspaper disseminate and explain some government policies to assist beneficiaries of social welfare programs.

- Some teachers from Que Phong district asked: We are teachers in Que Phong district, officially employed; we retired in 2002 according to Decision 109 of the Provincial People's Committee; from 2008 to the present, we have been transferred to work as administrative staff in schools in the district. Are we entitled to benefits under Decree No. 54/2011/ND-CP? Will the time we taught before 2002 be counted towards seniority allowance? As teachers, are we required to pay unemployment insurance?

Nghe An Newspaper has forwarded the following documents and case files to the relevant authorities:

- Referral slip No. 406/PC.BĐ.BNA dated August 24th to the Chief Inspector of Nghe An province and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district regarding the petition of some citizens in Block 11 and Block 15 of Hung Nguyen town.

- Referral slip No. 407 PC.BĐ.BNA dated August 24th, sent to the Chief Inspector of Nghe An Province and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town, regarding the complaint of Mr. Pham Hong Quang from Hamlet 13, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town.

- Referral slip No. 408/PC.BĐ.BNA dated August 27th sent to the Nghe An Provincial Department of Health regarding two articles about the case of Mr. Le Van Hoi's son, residing in Hamlet 14, Quynh Lam Commune, Quynh Luu District, who was scheduled for pancreatic head cyst surgery at Thai An Hospital. However, after one week of discharge, the patient was still in pain and a follow-up ultrasound showed no gallbladder...
