“Little Flowers” ​​returns to children on June 1st

At 8:00 p.m. on June 1, 2012, at studio S9, Vietnam Television, VTV6 will broadcast live the music and dance program “Children’s Swallows”. This is a special music and dance gala program marking the official return of Little Flowers - a beloved television program for children on the occasion of International Children’s Day (June 1).

More than 40 years ago, on September 7, 1970, on the young wave of Vietnam Television, a new television program called Little Flowers was initiated by musician Tran Duc. The program's idea came from Little Faces of Cuba Television (where musician Tran Duc was sent to study television directing) and quickly became a favorite program with children.



This June 1st gift includes many lovely performances, with famous songs, familiar melodies that have entered the subconscious of many generations such as: Birds singing in early spring, Children of the world festival, Grain of rice in our village, Going to school, Buffalo with banyan leaves, Little frog, A duck, Warbler, Cat going to the river bank, Little elephant in Ban Don, I am a small rose, For you, Swallows of childhood performed by the choir, children's singing and dancing group with famous guests: People's Artist Tran Hieu, singers Thai Thuy Linh and Hoai Nam (Sao Mai Diem Hen 2010).

In particular, there will be a medley - skit - magic show introducing the programs that will appear in Little Flowers from 2012. Specifically, they are Talking with Children (for children of nursery/kindergarten age), Little Bell (for primary school students), Baby's Dream (for children who want to experience a career... with many humorous situations), Open the Door Sesame (for secondary school age, who love to explore), Pretty Music Notes (a musical playground for children from primary schools, on air from July).

At the same time, the gala will launch a completely new program called Canh En Tuoi Tho - where the best new children's songs are introduced. The art council includes many famous artists such as: musicians An Thuyen, Van Dung, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Hoang Lan, Pham Viet Thanh, Le Minh Son, Luu Ha An, Dang Chau Anh... The 2 MCs of the program are Thanh Tu and Duc Bao. In particular, children who come to the studio to participate directly will receive meaningful June 1 gifts.

Director Minh Nguyet - Head of Children's Department, Youth Department VTV6, VTVVN said: "If in the past, the whole country only had one program called Little Flowers for children, now children are influenced by the development of television channels as well as information technology. In reality, we, the program crew, especially the young editors, need to explore new technologies. Besides enthusiasm and passion, that will create unique and suitable ideas to make Little Flowers attract more children. And thus, the educational effect can be effectively promoted."

Sharing about the launch of the Little Flowers, Musician Pham Tuyen hopes that the upcoming programs will gather many artists who love and understand children and create many programs that attract children. Journalist Quan Tap - former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thieu Nien Tien Phong newspaper said: "Let Little Flowers be good friends of children.
