Before the Law Competition for Ethnic Minorities in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) -Tomorrow morning, August 18, the "Legal Knowledge Contest for Ethnic Minorities" in Nghe An province will take place, but since this afternoon, the festival atmosphere has been bustling and exciting...
From 1:30 pm this afternoon, the Hall of the Committee's Guest House was bustling with colors and sounds. 10 competing teams from 10 mountainous districts gathered together, excitedly preparing for the rehearsal.
A performance in the rehearsal
Mr. Vi Hoi - Vice Chairman of Tuong Duong district, who is always present at competitions and art performances of ethnic people, happily said: Tuong Duong district has prepared for this competition very carefully, from the work of widely disseminating legal knowledge to the people, organizing the district-level competition to select the excellent team, the Thach Giam commune team, to participate in the provincial competition. The valuable thing is that the people coming to the competition are very enthusiastic and eager. The practice sessions are filled with sweat and dedication of the mothers and sisters. In our group, there are members who set foot in Vinh city for the first time, such as Ms. Minh Nguyet and her daughter, Hre ethnic group.

Ms. Ngo Thi Hien, a member of the Quy Hop team, shared: Although it was just a rehearsal, it was the first time I was on stage, I was very nervous. I didn't think the competition would be this big and crowded. My team is mainly Tho ethnic people, recruited from the Information and Propaganda team of Nghia Xuan commune.
In the hall, you can see silver hair and 10-year-old boys sitting attentively watching their teams practice. Mr. Mac Dang Phe (Thai ethnic group, 64 years old, from Ngoc Lam commune, a commune of resettled people in Thanh Chuong) fidgeted and waited anxiously for his turn. He participated in answering questions about the Land Law and found that, within just one week, he had learned a lot of legal knowledge, things that were previously unfamiliar to him. He felt that this competition helped him and his fellow countrymen learn a lot more.

Chattering next to his father - Va Ba Dua, the boy Va Po Chua, tightly hugged a Mong panpipe taller than himself. The whole family of 4 people went to the festival. Chua was the youngest, only in 6th grade but already knew how to play many panpipe tunes. Chua's father and siblings were also active members of the art troupe of Nhon Mai commune, Tuong Duong. Mentioning the family of Va Ba Dua, perhaps no one in this remote district did not know.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nam, Tho ethnic group, from Tan Ky, said: his team is the team of Tan Hop commune, won the district-level competition. Coming to this competition, the theme of his team is the issue of domestic violence. This is also a long-standing pressing phenomenon in the highland areas, and is also a prominent issue in Tan Hop. Mr. Nam hopes that his propaganda team will contribute to reducing acts of violence and through this, the women of his hometown will learn to overcome their fear to reach a happier life.
Coming to the competition, each member is eager to win for their team. But the biggest desire is still the joy of meeting, exchanging, learning and most importantly, from here, each person can improve their awareness and understanding of the law.
